Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce crosslinked polymer particles excellent in properties of modifying a resin, improving the flowability of a toner and preventing the blocking of a resin film, excellent also in lubricity and sliding characteristics and improving lamellar peeling and dropout.
CONSTITUTION: Polymerizable monomers including ≥10wt.% crosslinkable monomer are polymerized to form polymer particles and 0.1-900 pts.wt. fluorine- contg. monomer is polymerized in the presence of 100 pts.wt. of the polymer particles to produce the objective crosslinked polymer particles with a fluorine- contg. polymer on the surfaces of the particles. The average particle diameter of the crosslinked polymer particles is 0.01-10μm.
