Title:
CROSSTALK NOISE ELIMINATING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0468982
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate a crosstalk component from an adjacent track superimposed on a reproduced luminance signal by delaying the reproduced luminance signal for a specific time, extracting a signal for a prescribed frequency range and subtracting it from the reproduced luminance signal.

CONSTITUTION: A delay circuit 2 delays a reproduced luminance signal for a time equivalent to a prescribed deviation and a delay circuit 5 delays the reproduced luminance signal for a time being the subtraction of a time equivalent to a prescribed deviation from one horizontal period. A noise extraction circuit 3 extracts a signal of a prescribed frequency range and a prescribed level or over from the delay signal outputted from the delay circuit 2 and a noise extraction circuit 6 extracts a signal of a prescribed frequency range and a prescribed level or over from the delay signal outputted from the delay circuit 5. A subtractor circuit 8 subtracts the signal extracted by the noise extraction circuit 3 from the reproduced luminance signal and outputs it and a subtractor circuit 9 subtracts a signal extracted by the noise extraction circuit 6 from the reproduced luminance signal outputted from the subtractor circuit 8 and outputs the result. Thus, crosstalk noise from an adjacent track is eliminated.
