Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and surely perform processing with a sufficient drop amount (crowning amount) irrespective of a magnitude of a curvature radius R of crowning.SOLUTION: In crowning for processing a workpiece W by pressing it to a reciprocating grindstone S while the workpiece W is conveyed by drawing a circular disc moving trajectory, a revolving body 36 which can revolve with a curvature radius center O of the moving trajectory of the workpiece W as a revolving center is arranged, a grindstone holder 10 is fixed to a position above the revolving body 36 with an interval from the revolving center O at a distance equal to a radius R of the moving trajectory of the workpiece W, the grindstone holder 10 is made to reciprocate around the revolving center O by a drive unit 42, and an oscillation trajectory of the grindstone S is made to coincide with the moving trajectory of the workpiece W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
