Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To concentrically arrange a gas bubbling nozzle and an extruding plug at the center of a furnace bottom in a crucible induction furnace to which the gas bubbling nozzle for blowing gas and the extruding plug for dismantling a crucible are annexed.
SOLUTION: This crucible induction furnace incorporates an extruding plug 14 provided with a nozzle vent 17 at the center into a refractory brick 8, and incorporates a gas bubbling nozzle 10 into the bottom part of a crucible 1 through the nozzle vent 17, thus placing the extruding plug 14 and the gas bubbling nozzle 10 at the center of the furnace bottom by piling them. The gas bubbling nozzle 10 is fixed by being held through a tubular nozzle hold 20 inserted into the nozzle vent 17 by means of a flange 19 stuck to the bottom face of the extruding nozzle 14.
