Abstract:
PURPOSE: To generate sufficient convectional motion in packing materials by constituting an agitating device to be built in a treating vessel of agitating vanes which are mounted via arms of a diametral direction at a revolving shaft erected at the center in the bottom of the treating vessel and rise spirally along the inside surfaces of the treating vessel.
CONSTITUTION: An agitating device 11 in a treating vessel 3 is constituted by providing the front ends of the arm parts 13a of the arms 13 which is mounted on a revolving shaft 12 erected in the center of bottom of the treating vessel 3 and extending near to the inside wall surfaces of the treating vessel 3 with an agitating vanes 14. The agitating vanes 14 rise spirally along the inside surfaces of the treating vessel 3 in the direction where the vanes retreat toward the rotating direction of the arms 13 from the stop positions to the arms 13. Upward motion is generated in a packing materials 24 near the inside wall surfaces of the treating vessel 3 by the agitating vanes 14 and the outward motion is generate in the packing material 24 near the bottom by the arm 13, by which the activity of the aerobic bacteria is made vigorous and crude refuse 25 is rapidly decomposed.
