Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely obtain a treated material such as a powdered tea having a uniform and fine grain size by setting both the upper and lower mortars provided with the respective conical crushing faces to be matched with each other, rotating one or both of the mortars with a driver and inclining the mortars by an angle changing device.
CONSTITUTION: A motor 8 provided with a reduction gear is driven to rotate a rotating shaft 8a at a low speed, the tea leaves (a), for example, to be treated are fed from an inlet 3i, and the tea leaves (a) are guided to the conical crushing faces 3a and 2a through a guide groove by the centrifugal force due to the rotation of one or both of the upper and lower mortars 3 and 2. The tea leaves (a) are moved toward the periphery by the crossing and sliding of the main groove and auxiliary grooves of the mortars 3 and 2 and finely crushed. An angle changing device 11 is then driven to incline the horizontal mortars 3 and 2 to a necessary angle. Namely, an angle changing pin 14 is turned in the loosening direction to separate the tip of the pin 14 present at the fixing part 12d of the angle changing groove on the side face of a storage case 12.
