To provide a crushing apparatus capable of certainly preventing the stagnation of crushed matter or the like at a place where labor is required in removing work even when interlock operation of work machines are stopped.
In the crushing apparatus, respective work machines such as a grizzly feeder, a crusher, a discharge conveyor or the like are allowed to cooperate and stopped by pushing an interlock operation OFF switch 94 but, in this case, the load of the discharge conveyor is detected by a load detecting means 110 after the grizzly feeder is stopped and, after the load of the discharge conveyor is eliminated and it is judged that crushed matter or the like is not left by a judge means 122A, a stoppage command is outputted to the crusher and the discharge conveyor from a stoppage command means 122B. Accordingly, the stagnation of the crushed matter on the discharge conveyor can be prevented certainly as compared with such a conventional case that the crusher and the discharge conveyor are stopped only after the elapse of a predetermined time to avoid such a situation that the removing work of the crushed matter stagnating on the discharge conveyor is performed.
