The crushing and separating apparatus 1 comprises a two-axle crusher 10, a sieve part 20, a metal shards separating part 30, and the like, which are connected by conveyers 50, 51 and the like. A dust collecting duct 80 is connected to the two-axle crusher 10, and the sieve part 20 among these, and further to a transferring part 60 for transferring from the sieve part 20 to the conveyer 51. The dust collecting duct 80 is connected to a dust collector 42 through dust collecting ducts 70, 81, 82. Toner powder adhering to a toner recovering unit 1000 is sucked by the dust collector 42.
