Title:
CRYOGENIC FLUID JOINT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3389241
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extensively applicable cryogenic fluid joint of excellent workability for maintaining a mating condition of male and female joints even when it is used in a single mode while solving problems on icing and gas purge.
SOLUTION: This cryogenic fluid joint is used to feed a cryogenic fluid between a storage tank and a mobile body, and comprises a male joint 10 which is installed on a base side and provided with a mating link mechanism 1 and a female joint 20 installed on the mobile body side. Both joints are mated to enable the feed of the fluid by fitting the male joint 10 in the female joint 20, and fitting a lever of the mating link mechanism 1 without any gas purge or without being affected by ice generated by the cryogenic fluid. A mating lock maintaining mechanism 8 is provided to maintain/release the mating condition of the male joint 10 with the female joint 20 in an interlocking manner with the mating link mechanism 1.
