Abstract:

PURPOSE: To accurately control temperature in a cryogenic refrigerating plant and to operate it with a high efficiency without increasing it size.
CONSTITUTION: Adsorbent 14 and a heater 15 are contained in an inner tank to form a first refrigerant chamber. The inner tank is contained in an outer tank, a second refrigerant chamber is formed between the outer tank and the inner tank, and second refrigerant is always supplied to the second refrigerant chamber. When the heater 15 is operated to heat the adsorbent 14, the first refrigerant is discharged, when the heater 15 is stopped, the adsorbent 14 is cooled by the second refrigerant supplied to the second refrigerant chamber, and the first refrigerant is adsorbed. A unidirectional valve for discharging the first refrigerant from the first refrigerant chamber and a unidirectional valve for returning the first refrigerant are provided. Accordingly, the first refrigerant is automatically discharged, and returned. Since the second refrigerant is always supplied to the second chamber, it is not necessary to supply or stop the second refrigerant by using a control valve for cooling the adsorbent 14.
