Abstract:

To provide a crystal of CD40 ligand (CD40L) that has the size and the quality sufficient for obtaining useful information or provide a method for preparing a crystal of CD40L fragment.

This invention is a method for preparing a crystal of CD40L and comprises following steps: step (a) where an aqueous solution including fragments of CD40L is prepared; step (b) where a stock solution including a precipitant is prepared; step (c) where a capacity of the aqueous solution and a capacity of the stock solution are mixed to form a mixed product; and step (d) where at least a part of mixture is allowed to crystallized.
