PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new crystal nucleating agent for a crystalline thermoplastic resin which is formed by using a natural product-derived material from the viewpoint of environment consideration, and can satisfy a mechanical performance and an optical performance with a small amount addition.SOLUTION: A crystal nucleating agent for a crystalline thermoplastic resin contains metal salt of specific polymerized rosins having a dimer content of 60 wt.% or more, as a main component.
