Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the crystal oscillation circuit which can be driven to oscillate by composing the crystal oscillation circuit of a gate element and even by using a crystal vibrator which has a low excitation level and high impedance.
SOLUTION: A main oscillation circuit 1 performs crystal oscillation to generate an oscillation output 9. An auxiliary oscillation circuit 4 assists the excitation of the main oscillation circuit 1. A control circuit 7 outputs a starting signal 6 with an externally inputted oscillation control signal 8 to control the operation of the auxiliary oscillation circuit 4 and main oscillation circuit 1. The crystal oscillator 3 performs oscillating operation. A buffer element 2 performs feedback operation. Analog switches 17 and 18 and a buffer element 5 are turned on and off with the starting signal 6.
