Abstract:

To provide a high resolution crystal structure of a prokaryotic 30S ribosome subunit and to provide the use of the structure in drug discovery.

The crystal of the 30S subunit has a tetragonal space group P41212 with unit cell dimensions of a=401.375 , b=401.375 and c=175.887 .
