Abstract:

To provide the subject resin composition capable of giving a molded form with excellent mechanical properties and/or optical properties through incorporation of smaller amounts of a nucleating agent, and to provide a method for producing the above resin composition.

This crystalline thermoplastic resin composition is characterized by comprising (A) 100 pts.wt. of a crystalline thermoplastic resin, (B) 0.001-30 pt(s).wt. of rosin acid partial calcium salt and/or rosin acid partial zinc salt and (C) 0.05-40 pt(s).wt. of a magnesium-containing compound. The other objective method for producing the above resin composition is characterized by comprising kneading together in a molten condition (A) a crystalline thermoplastic resin, (B) rosin acid partial calcium salt and/or rosin acid partial zinc salt and (C) a magnesium-containing compound.
