To provide a method for safely crystallizing a precipitated solid organic compound with good operability when the precipitated solid organic compound containing impurities is cooled and crystallized in a combustible organic solvent.

In the method for crystallizing the precipitated solid organic compound containing not only impurities but also particles with a final sedimentation speed of 0.1 m/sec or more using the combustible organic solvent making the solubility of impurities contained in the solid organic compound larger than that of the solid organic compound, the precipitated solid organic compound and the combustible organic solvent are charged in a crystallization tank in this order and inert gas is blown in the crystallization tank in the vicinity of the bottom part thereof to fluidize the solid organic compound and, if necessary, the obtained liquid is heated to be cooled under stirring.
