Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the projection of hardware such as a suspension hook or the like from a surface, and to reduce the manual slinging work, by forming a hole enlarged downward.
SOLUTION: A cubic block 10 is a block of almost cubic shape, to be used in the establishment of a structure such as an artificial submarine mountain range, an artificial submarine mound or the like, and comprises a through hole 11 gradually enlarged from an upper face 10a toward a lower face 10b, and the transverse grooves 12 and the vertical grooves 13 formed on the four side faces. The through hole 11 has the almost square or circular section, and are vertically formed by connecting the centers of the upper and lower faces 10a, 10b. The transverse groove 12 is formed at the center of the side face while extended in the horizontal direction, and the vertical groove 13 is formed at the center of the side face while extended in the vertical direction. The transverse groove 12 is used when the cubic block 10 is conveyed by a fork lift. That is, the space block can be conveyed in safety, by holding the cubic block 10 in a condition that two arms of the fork lift are inserted into the transverse grooves 12, 12.
