To provide a C-GIS (Cubicle-type Gas Insulated Switchgear) which has excellent insulation performance and in which electromagnetic force generated at the time of energization is minimized.

A cubicle-type gas insulated switchgear comprises: a busbar chamber tank 1 and an apparatus chamber tank 2 which have insulation gas enclosed therein and are connected in an up-down direction; a vacuum valve 30 positioned in the apparatus chamber tank 2 in a vertical direction; plate-formed contacts 43 to be connected to an upper end 31 and an lower end 32 of the vacuum valve 30; and main circuit conductors 8 and 33 whose one ends are connected to finger contacts 44 fitting with the plate-formed contacts 43 and other ends are connected to disconnectors 7 and 11 stored in the busbar chamber tank 1 and the apparatus chamber tank 2, respectively. The axis line of the plate-formed contacts 43, the finger contacts 44 and the main circuit conductors 8 and 33 in a longitudinal direction is positioned around an extension of the axis line of a movable lead 45 and a fixed lead 46 arranged facing each other in the vacuum valve 30.
