Abstract:
To provide a cuffed tube for ensuring an intratracheal sealing.
This tracheal tube has a cuff 30 which is tapered in the longitudinal direction with a diameter at its end on the side of a patient being smaller than the diameter of the trachea and a diameter at its end on the side of a device being larger than the diameter of the trachea. The cuff 30 can have two annular channels 31, 32 which are formed around the cuff in spaced relation. A region 35 between the channels has a diameter almost adaptable to the diameter of the trachea.
