To provide a culture method of Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in which culture efficiency of Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi can be improved and spore production can be also increased, and gel that can be used for the culture method.SOLUTION: A culture method of Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in which gel in which spores of Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi or spores and mycelia of Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi are embedded are immersed into liquid culture medium and cultured, and gel in which spores of Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi or spores and mycelia of Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi are embedded and which does not contain culture medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
