To provide a strong cultured skin by manufacturing the cultured skin with a thick skin layer and establishing a manufacturing method for the same, in generation of the cultured skin using umbilical cord cells.
The cultured skin having the thick skin layer obtained by forming a skin layer obtained by thickly laminating the cell system of the umbilical cord epitheliocyte to the 2nd generation of the subculture or the umbilical cord epitheliocyte having acquired stable and long proliferative, and a manufacturing method of the cultured skin are provided. The cultured skin preferably comprises: a paracellular matrix; dermic layer consisting of dermides fibroblastod or/and umbilical cord myofibroblast; and the umbilical cord epitheliocyte laminated thickly.
