To provide a culturing device capable of stirring a culture solution without using any stirring blade and therefore damaging cells little.
The culturing device works as follows: On sucking air in a partitioning tube 3 as a gas reservoir element extends, the pressure in the tube 3 decreases compared to other sites to suck a culture solution in the device into the tube 3 as shown in the Figure(b). On rotating a geared motor further, the gas reservoir element contracts to discharge the air in the gas reservoir element toward the tube 3 side. As a result, the pressure in the tube 3 increases compared to other parts to return the culture solution sucked into the tube 3 toward a culturing vessel 2 side and also push up the level around the tube 3 as shown in the Figure(c). Subsequently, on rotating the geared motor 18 further, the culture solution in the device is sucked into the tube 3 as shown above in the Figure(b). Hereafter, the above-mentioned steps are repeated.
