Abstract:
To provide a cup container that a palm-joint portion is provided in a body made by cylindrically forming a for-body blank having a metallic foil layer and a thermally-sealable resin layer, in which delamination, corrosion or the like is not to occur at both end faces of the for-body blank.SOLUTION: A cup container 1 comprises a body 2 that is cylindrically formed by superposing and joining both end edges of a for-body blank 20A together in a palm-joint form, and a bottom 3 made by forming a for-bottom blank 30A such that a bottom portion 31 and a downward portion 32 are formed. On an inner surface at a lower end 2a of the body 2, an outer surface of a downward portion 32 is joined. The for-body blank 20A and the for-bottom blank 30A are respectively formed by laminates 20, 30 consisting of a metallic foil layer 201, 301 and thermally-sealable resin layers 202, 203, 302, 303 laminated over both surfaces of the metallic foil layer 201, 301. In the palm-joint portion 21 of the body 2, both end faces 204, 205 of the for-body blank 20A are coated with an outside resin-deposit portion R1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
