Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition reduced in the necessity for organic solvents, having good flow and appearance, and being sprayable in a highly viscous form.
SOLUTION: This composition comprises a carbamate-functional component (A) comprising a reaction product of a polyhydroxy compound (1), which is a reaction product of a compound (a) having at least one epoxide group, desirable a glycidyl ether or a glycidyl ester with a compound (b) selected from the group consisting of hydroxy acids having at least one organic acid group and at least one hydroxyl group, poly acids containing a plurality of organic acid groups and mixtures thereof, with a carbamate compound (2) and a component (B) having a plurality of groups reactive with the carbamate-functional group of component A.
