Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare a top coating which is excellent in the balances between hardness and impact resistance and between elongation and contamination resistance.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition comprises a vinyl resin which contains at least one hydrolyzable silyl group in each molecule and has a principal chain comprised substantially of a vinyl polymer, a modified soft resin which is obtained by the polymerization of a soft resin with a Tg of 0°C or below having polymerizable double bonds at the terminals of the principal chain thereof, a vinyl monomer having a hydrolyzable silyl group and a vinyl monomer having no hydrolyzable silyl group and which contains at least one hydrolyzable silyl group in each molecule, and a curing catalyst.
