Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a curable composition which can give a cured product improved in weathering resistance, toughness, adhesive strength, etc., by mixing a specified alkyl (meth)-acrylate with an oxyalkylene polymer and an epoxy resin. CONSTITUTION:Monomers which can give monomer units of formula I (wherein R<1> is 1-8C alkyl and R<2> is H or CH3) and formula II (wherein R<3> is 10C or higher alkyl), together with optionally a monomer copolymerizable therewith, are copolymerized with a compound having a polymerizable unsaturated bond and a reactive silicon group to obtain an alkyl (meth)acrylate (A) having an Si-bonded OH or hydrolyzable group (i) and at least one Si-containing group (ii) which can be crosslinked by forming siloxane bonds. Component A is mixed with an oxyalkylene polymer having component (i) and at least one component (ii) and an epoxy resin to obtain the title composition.
