To obtain a curable composition excellent in storage stability, proofness against gelling, and a pot life by incorporating an enamel composition containing a silicon-containing vinyl (co)polymer and a coloring pigment, a crosslinking agent comprising an alkoxysilane compound monomer or condensate, and a curing catalyst comprising an organometallic compound.
This composition comprises an enamel composition, a crosslinking agent, and a curing catalyst in a ratio of (80-100)/(5-20)/(5-20). The enamel composition contains 2-70 pts.wt. silicon-containing vinyl (co)polymer component having a weight-average molecular weight of 5,000-100,000 and obtained by copolymerizing an organosiloxane monomer with an unsaturated carboxylic ester monomer, 2-50 pts.wt. organic or inorganic pigment and, optionally, 3-50 pts.wt. extender pigment and 3-50 pts.wt. silicone resin component to give 100 pts.wt. total. The crosslinking agent is an alkoxy compound represented by the formula (wherein R1 is an alkoxyl or the like; R2 is an alkyl or the like; and (n) is 0-3) or a condensate thereof. The curing catalyst is exemplified by dibutyltin dilaurate.
