Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the present resin outstanding in low-temperature curability, by polymerization, in the presence of a polymerization initiator, between an alicyclic hydrocarbon ring-contg. resin and monomer component comprising an alkoxysiloxane group-contg. vinyl monomer, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin can be obtained by polymerization, in the presence of a polymerization initiator, between (A) a resin having >=0.1mol. per kg of the resin, of alicyclic hydrocarbon ring carrying one or two hydrogen atoms bonded to at least one carbon atom forming the alicyclic hydrocarbon ring and (B) a monomer component comprising (i) an alkoxysiloxane group- contg. vinyl monomer [e.g. gamma-(meth)acryloxypropyl trimethoxysilane] and/or (ii) a polysiloxane-based macromonomer. This resin is incorporated with as the crosslinking reaction-curing agent, a chelate compound to obtain the other objective curable resin composition.
