To obtain a composition excellent in weather resistance and low- temperature curability by incorporating a vinyl (co)polymer having hydrolyzable silyl groups, isocyanate groups, and carbonyl-containing groups with a compound having a primary amino group and a solvent.
This composition comprises a vinyl (co)polymer having hydrolyzable silyl groups, isocyanate groups, and groups represented by the formula, a compound having at least one primary amino group (e.g. ethylenediamine), and a solvent (e.g. xylene). The vinyl (co)polymer is obtained by copolymerizing a polymerizable monomer having a hydrolyzable silyl group (e.g. γ- methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane) with a polymerizable monomer having an isocyanate group (e.g. dimethyl-m-isopropenylbenzyl isocyanate), a polymerizable monomer having a group represented by the formula (e.g. diacetoneacrylamide), and other polymerizable monomers (e.g. methyl methacrylate).
