To obtain a curable silicone composition having improved oil resis tance and abrasion resistance by mixing a specified organopolysiloxane with a specified acrylic polymer, a specified organohydrogenpolysiloxane and a hydrosilylation catalyst.
One hundred (100) pts.wt. organopolysiloxane (A) having at least two Si-bonded alkenyl groups in the molecule and having a viscosity of 100-105cSt at 25°C is mixed with 1-150 pts.wt. acrylic polymer (B) represented by the formula (wherein R1 is H or methyl; R2 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group; R3 is an alkylene; R4 is an alkyl or an aryl; R5 is an alkenyl; (n) and (p) are each 1-200; and (m) is 1-50) and having a molecular weight of 500-500,000, an organohydrogenpolysiloxane (C) having two or more Si-H bonds in the molecule and used in an amount to give a ratio of the total number of moles of the alkenyl groups of components A and B to the number of moles of Si-H bonds of component C of 1 to (0.4-50) and 0.000001-0.1 pt.wt. (in terms of the platinum atoms), per 100 pts.wt. total weight of components A and B, hydrosilylation catalyst (D).
