Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a silicone rubber curable with hot air under normal pressure and having high hardness, high modulus and excellent tear strength and compression set.
CONSTITUTION: This curable silicone rubber composition contains, as essential components, (A) 100 pts.wt. of an organopolysiloxane containing 0.001-1wt.% of vinyl group, (B) 5-50 pts.wt. of an organopolysiloxane containing 0.1-10wt.% of vinyl group and different from the component A, (C) 5-50 pts.wt. of an organopolysiloxane copolymer composed mainly of a triorganosiloxy unit (M) of formula R13SiO1/2 (R1 is vinyl, phenyl, an alkyl or a fluoroalkyl) and Sin. unit (Q) and containing 0.1-10wt.% of vinyl group, (D) 0.5-10mol (based on l mol of the total vinyl group in the components A to C) of an organohydrogensiloxane, (E) a catalytic amount of platinum or a platinum compound and (F) 10-150 pts.wt. of fine silica powder.
