To provide a curing spacer with a simple usage by which the occurrence of unevenness, warpage, and non-uniformity of physical properties can be prevented and curing time can be also shortened in a curing process of a ceramic based building material made of a hydraulic substance as a main material, and to also provide a building material curing facility using the same.
The curing spacer 1 has a structure which has two flat-plate-like exposed faces 2a, 3a on both upper/lower faces and a ventilating gap 4 between the upper face plate 2 and the lower face plate 3 and in which the upper face plate 2 and the lower face plate 3 are firmly joined. The curing spacer 1 and a plurality of plate-like molded bodies 7 as a curing target are stored in a curing chamber 8 in an alternately laminated state. If high-temperature steam jetted out from steam jetting-out means 9, 12 is introduced to the ventilating gap 4 of the spacer 1, the plate-like molded body 7 can be cured by uniformly heating it while holding the whole of the plate-like molded body 7 in a plane state with high accuracy by the steam moving two-dimensionally inside the gap 4.
