Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curl correction unit compact as a whole by providing the curl correction function as a separate unit from a printing device which can be mounted on the printing device in an attachable/detachable manner, and allowing a part of the unit to also have the function of a part of a printing device main body.
SOLUTION: A user who exclusively ruse a paper-sheet large in the degree of the curl in a fixing part 122 mounts a curl correction unit 200 on a printing device body, and uses it. When each side of the paper sheet is printed, the paper sheet one side of which is printed by the fixing part 122 is once discharged outside of the printing device main body from an upper part of a paper carrying part 123 through a second carrying passage 123b and a third carrying passage 123c. Then, the rear end of the paper sheet is held by a pair of final carrying rollers of the third carrying passage 123c. That is, an upper cover of a curl correction unit 200 is also provided with the function of a sheet stacker to temporarily pool paper sheets in printing both sides.
