Abstract:
To appropriately drive a tray part.SOLUTION: A currency processing device includes: an opening through which a coin is input; a tray part for holding the coin input from the opening; a first detection part for outputting a first detection signal in accordance with the presence/absence of the coin on the tray part; a second detection part for outputting a second detection signal in accordance with the presence/absence of the passage of the coin between the opening and the tray part; a driving part for moving the tray part; and a control part for controlling the driving part such that the driving part moves the tray part when it is not determined that there is the coin on the tray part based on the first detection signal and the passage of the coin is determined based on the second detection signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
