To provide a current fuse, with which an electric circuit can surely be cut off, when current exceeding a prescribed value flows in the electric circuit, due to some abnormalities through making a heating part generate heat at a high temperature and fuse by the current, and to provide a battery using this current fuse.
This fuse is equipped with an insulation substrate 11 composed of an insulating material, at least a pair of conductive electrode parts 12 formed on the insulation-substrate, and an conductive heating part 13, which is connected between the pair of electrode parts 12 and is made to generate heat, when the current exceeding the prescribed value flows. The heating part 13 is formed, using a low-melting point organic binder (not illustrated), and when the current exceeding the prescribed value flows in the heating part 13, the heating part 13 is made to generate heat, so as to make the organic binder fuse and disconnect the circuit and to make the electric circuit between the electrode parts cut off, so that the electric circuit between the electrode parts 12 can be cut off surely by the fusing of the organic binder.
