Abstract:
To provide a current source having a response increased in speed.SOLUTION: A current source includes an operational amplifier 42 having a constant gain at a frequency lower than a certain frequency point and having a gain inversely proportional to the frequency at a frequency higher than the frequency point. A source resistance 48 is connected in series with an output terminal of the operational amplifier 42. The operational amplifier 42 controls a voltage across terminals of the source resistance 48 to a source voltage so that the gain of the operational amplifier 42 can serve to limit the variations of the source voltage and the output voltage across terminals of a load between high and low terminals 45 and 47 due to the operational amplifier 42. Feedback components 52 and 54 are connected to an input terminal of the operational amplifier 42 and receive a part of the output voltage to reduce the gain of the operational amplifier usable to control the source voltage across terminals of the source resistance 48.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
