Title:
CURRENT TRANSFORMER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3673224
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new current transformer, using a flux zero method in which a Hall element is not needed and core flux can be actively kept to be zero.
SOLUTION: In this current transformer, wires are wound around a toroidal core in a bifilar winding, and where one wire is a second wire 2nd and another wire is a third wire 3rd, the second wire 2nd is connected to the input of an operational amplifier, and the third wire 3rd is connected to the output. The current flowing in the third wire 3rd is controlled so that the voltage, generated between the both terminals of the second wire, is always controlled to be zero.
