To provide a curtain supporting device, with which runners slide excellently, longitudinal warpage and deformation of a curtain rail are prevented and human body and environmental preservation are considered.

The curtain supporting device a traverse rail 2 which is cut and processed from laminated bamboo and formed in the shape of a round bar, a pair of brackets attached to an attached wall surface and supporting the curtain rail 2 and runners which are attached to the curtain rail 2 so that they can slide and hang a curtain so that it can be attached/detached. Especially, the laminated bamboo of the curtain rail 2 is formed of sheet-like bamboo materials 10 which are cut along the fiber direction of the bamboo and have a cross-section in the shape of almost rectangle and laminated in a thickness direction with an adhesive, and has at least a pair of a first laminated part 11 and a second laminated part 12 which are arranged so that laminating directions may be at right angles to each other.
