Abstract:
To generate a wide variety of curved lines easily and automatically.SOLUTION: A setting unit 22 of a curved line generation device 100 sets two points through which a curved line passes and sets a circle Cr touching the curved line at a point B representing one of the two points through which the curved line passes. Then, the setting unit 22 sets a point D representing a point at which a line extending from a center point A in a horizontal direction and the circle Cr cross. Then, the setting unit 22 sets a first line segment a connecting the point B and the point D and sets a second line segment b which crosses the first line segment a so as to make a predetermined angle α with it. The setting unit 22 divides the second line segment b by a predetermined number m and sets, from each of m dividing points, each of dividing line segments representing a line segment orthogonal to the second line segment b. The setting unit 22 generates the curved line by: setting m points at which each of the m dividing line segments extending from each of the m dividing points and the circle Cr cross; drawing horizontal lines in the horizontal direction from the m points on the circle Cr; and joining intersection points of each of the horizontal lines extending from the m points on the circle Cr and a perpendicular line which is formed such as to rise up from division of a distance from an origin in a two-dimensional plane to the point B by a predetermined number.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
