Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable arbitrary movement of the mounting neutral position of a cushion, by a method wherein a fluid pressure chamber, compressed and deformed by a retainer and a plate, is pressurized by a liquid pressure, and an expandable member is expanded. CONSTITUTION:An oil pressure is applied on the fluid pressure chamber 18 side during starting and running at a low speed. In this case, the shape in cross section of the fluid pressure chamber 18, tightened and compressed by a retainer 19 and a plate 9, is varied to an expansion shape from a compression state. Thus, a mounting neutral position P of a cushion is moved to the forward end side of a strut par 1 compared with a mounting neutral position P located during no-load running, and the effective length of the strut par 1. This permits free movement of the neutral position P of the cushion.
