To provide a cushion with which a packed object is difficult to be damaged even when a strong impact is applied to each corner of a packing box.
The cushion A is interposed between each corner of a packing box and each corner of a packed object. The cushion A is formed in an approximately cylindrical form comprising an opposite part 11 in contact with two adjacent side faces of the object, a press 13 in contact with an upper surface of the object, and a flap including a pair of extension pieces 13a, 14b and a pair of fold-back pieces 15a, 15b. An anti-deformation part 18 extending from an end 15P on a side of a corner in the packing box of the fold-back piece 15a toward a corner 17 of the opposite part 11 is provided, wherein the anti- deformation part 18 has a positioning piece 22 which is folded at a crease 21 with a tip 19 coming into contact between the fold-back piece 15b and the extension piece 14b wherein a part 23 of it comes into contact with the corner 17 of the opposite part 11.
