Abstract:
To provide a cushion member, and a package body to protect corners of an object to be packed with excellent cushioning effect by cushion plate material such as paperboard.SOLUTION: A square cylindrical part 33 is a folded part in a square cylinder shape, having a first wall part 331 as a part of a base part 31 and a second wall part 332 opposite to the first part 331. An overlapped part 34 is overlapped on the first wall part 331. An erected part 35 is a folded part from the overlapped part 34 and erect from the overlapped part 34 toward the second wall part 332. The erected part 35 includes a penetration piece 352 penetrating a slit 3321 formed in the second wall part 332 and projected out of the square cylindrical part 33. The penetrating piece 352 comprises: a side surface protection part 3521 formed parallel to a fold line of the square cylindrical part 33 and running along a side surface 92 of an object 9 to be packed; and a pair of reinforcement parts 3522 folded from the side surface protection part 3521 along a direction orthogonal to the side surface protection part 3521.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
