PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a customer information processing program and method to easily extract and summarize the customer names out of the abundant volume of activity record data which are daily and naturally stored by many people in a company although their descriptions are ambiguous.
SOLUTION: In this program P, information about customers in activity record data D0 inputted as necessary to a computer 7 without deciding a special input format is used to make the computer 7 create a processing field 10 with customer contact information recorded therein, extract information 11a and 11b about each customer out of the customer contact information, and create a customer identification database D1 which is configured to organize the activity record data D0 for each customer 6. Then, in this program P, a customer name conversion table 12 to clarify a relation between formal name 15 of each customer 6 to make a deal, stored in the computer 7, and its ambiguous name 16, is used to make the computer convert the ambiguous name of the customer 6 recorded in the field 10 for processing into the formal name, and extract information associated with each customer 6.
