Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify joint work by providing expanded projections to both side ends of a joint member main body, inserting the projections into mounting holes provided in opening sections facing joining faces of concrete joining objects, and forming opening spaces in the joint member main body.
SOLUTION: Projections 6a are provided to both side ends of a joint member main body 6 of an elastic member such as rubber or synthetic resin, etc., and the projections 6a are inserted into mounting holes 3 provided to opening sections 4 of alignment faces 2 in box culverts 1 opposed to each other. When the projections 6a of the joint member main body 6 are inserted into the mounting holes 3 of the box culverts 1, lip-like enclosed press-contact sections 6b provided backward of the projections 6a are press-contacted to the insides of the opening sections 4. Then, spaces K are provided around the projections 6a to form introduction passages 8 leading to the insides of the opening sections 4, and the spaces K in the mounting holes 3 are filled with grout through the introduction passages 8. Accordingly, joint work between concrete joining objects can be easily carried out.
