Title:
CUT-OFF OF WATER IN SANDY GROUND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08296234
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify the construction and reduce the cost by supplying viscous soil component to a sandy ground by watering through a groove provided along a retaining wall or underground wall, clogging the ground in the periphery of the wall to cut off the underground back water.

CONSTITUTION: A groove 9 is provided on the ground surface 1 near a wall 3 provided on a sandy ground 5 along the wall 3, water is sprayed from a water spraying pipe 13 while viscous soil 11 is supplied, and the viscous soil component 11 of fine particle is fed into the sandy ground to clog the ground in the periphery of the wall 3. An underground back water A is prevented from going round the periphery of the wall 3 by the viscous soil component 11, and the cut-off effect is enhanced without performing a large-scale soil improvement. Thus, the cut-off of water in sandy ground can be executed at low cost.
