The cut piece discharge structure in the carving apparatus for cutting the object to be carved by the cutting part of the cutting tool has the main shaft formed to a cylindrical body, the rotary shaft supported on the inner peripheral side of the main shaft in a freely revolvable manner, the cutting tool fixed to the rotary shaft, the fin arranged to the lower end of the rotary shaft to permit the interpolation of the cutting tool, the recessed part extrapolated to the lower end of the main shaft and having the fin positioned therein and a cover having a first passage communicating with the outside on the bottom surface side of the recessed part and having the cutting tool positioned therein and a second passage communicating with the outside on the side surface side of the recessed part to be extended in the direction crossing the extension direction of the first passage almost at a right angle.
