Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the excavating efficiency and miniaturize the device, in a cutter drive device, a tunnel excavating machine and a tunnel excavating method.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of circular cutter heads 12 are rotatably provided at the front end of an excavating machine body 11 and a rectangular cutter head 14 is supported by a cutter drive device 19 so as to swing and rotate between a pair of circular cutter heads 12. And also a smaller diameter cutter head is supported so as to swing and rotate outside the circular cutter heads 12. The rectangular cutter head 14 is rotatably supported on a swinging body 21 by the first rotary shaft 20 to be rotatable to one direction with the first drive motor 23. The swinging body 21 is rotatably supported on the excavating machine body 11 by the second rotary shaft 27 eccentrically positioned against the first rotary shaft 20 to be reversely rotatable with the second drive motor 29.
