Title:
CUTTER SENSOR SUPPORTING DEVICE AND CUTTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3929758
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor supporting device that can effectively absorb and mitigate an impact force and that can also shorten cutting interruption time until recovery after bumping, when the sensor or its support arm bumps against an obstacle such as a workpiece or a machining base in the transfer or the like of the cutting head during the driving of a cutter, in the mechanism of supporting a sensor for detecting height from the workpiece or the machining base with an arm for supporting a frame holding the cutting head of a plasma cutter for example.
SOLUTION: In the arm 13 for supporting the air sensor 9 that detects height from the workpiece or the machining base, there is provided a flexure part 15 that bends in a manner recoverable to the original state after bumping against an obstacle. The sensor supporting device 11 is structured so that the supporting arm 13 bent at the flexure part 15 can be recovered to the original state simply in a short time. The invention provides this sensor supporting device 11 as well as a cutter mounted with it.
