Abstract:
To solve a problem that deterioration of the quality of deliverables may be caused by cutting scraps.SOLUTION: A cutting device has: an upper blade 722 which cuts sheets transported by a vertical path transport part 704; a scrap discharge path 711 through which cutting scraps SP produced during cutting pass; a shutter member 725 which is movable between a guide position where the shutter member 725 closes the scrap discharge path 711 and guides the transported sheets and a retreat position where the cutting scraps may enter into the path; and a blower device 717 which blows air to the shutter member 725 in the retreat position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
