To provide a wire saw cutting device secured to the arm front end of a self travelling machine without adding a complicated mechanism to eliminate the inevitably generated looseness of a wire saw in pushing and cutting by the wire saw and to provide a cutting device and a cutting method by which the pushing and cutting by the wire saw can be carried out.

In the device and the method in which the pushing and cutting is carried out by winding the wire saw around a guide sheave and a plurality of guide pulleys of the wire saw cutting device secured to the arm front end of the self travelling machine such as a backhoe or a hydraulic shovel, guide rollers contacting with core holes are arranged near the guide pulleys to eliminate the looseness simply by the movement of the self travelling machine itself and to eliminate the deviation of the guide pulleys in the core holes generated in pushing and cutting in the case the looseness of the wire saw is generated associated with cutting.
